FOWL RIVER HOME RENOVATION

located in my hometown of mobile, alabama, this project quickly became one near & dear to my heart. when i was first brought on to this project, the clients had just purchased the home; they knew it had potential, but were having trouble seeing it. this is where anna nicole interiors came in to help shed some light on the potential changes we could make to transform the entire house to better fit the clients’ needs and aesthetics. we started off by fully gutting the house and essentially starting over with an empty shell. it was important to both the clients and myself to keep some original elements in order to preserve the homes charm & character; like the old wood door between the kitchen and dining area, kept in tact with its original brass hardware. in the mudroom entry space, we chose to do a collage and frame some of the existing finishes from the historic home, including old wallpaper and various tiles, along with some bright, colorful artwork from the client’s grandchildren. with the home being located directly on the river, we incorporated many elements from nature into the design with cabinetry colors and the finishing accessories, decor, and live plants. stay tuned for phase 2 of the exterior and back patio!
